Feb. 23 — Design for Dogs — Scottsdale5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Design for Dogs is a custom dog house design + build competition, silent auction, and most importantly, a fundraiser! Hosted by Facings of America since 2015, this dog-centric architectural event showcases one-of-a-kind dog house creations by local architects, interior designers, builders, and industry partners.
This family-friendly event has something for everyone…food, music, beer and wine tasting, local vendor booths, learning opportunities for adoption and animal advocacy, a puppy kissing booth, AND…some lucky winners will go home with cool, new custom homes for their furry friends.

Feb. 27 — Hiking with dogs — Chandler6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Join us to learn basics of hiking, backpacking, camping and paddling with dogs. This class will help you plan a successful hike, camp, or paddle for you and your canine companion. We’ll review where to go, what to bring for you and your pup, and what you may encounter on the trail. We’ll talk about where to find dog-friendly parks – local, state-wide and nationally. Having the right equipment is critical, so we’ll discuss gear, as well as safety and comfort items you’ll need to bring along to make a safe, enjoyable hike, camp or paddle for both you and your dog. Learn how to travel on trails with your dog in a way that makes the least impact on the natural area, including wildlife.

How about we go hiking with our pups! This hike is meant to be a dog friendly hike and will focus on hiking safely with your dog in the desert. Please bring your dog along on a leash and let’s go have fun on this very scenic hike. This hike is a moderate three miles total and will take around two hours. Please bring water and snacks for both you and your pup. Follow the “Hike” signs once you get close to the park, to the North Pipeline Canyon Trailhead at the end of Cottonwood Lane coming in the north entrance of Lake Pleasant Regional Park.

March 3 — Dog Days of Buckeye — Buckeye9:00 am – 2:00 pm
The City of Buckeye Community Services Department is hosting Dog Days of Buckeye, presented by Abrazo West Campus, Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. at Sundance Park (Rainbow Road and Lower Buckeye). Buckeye Animal Reuse Kennel, Rainbow Valley Animal Search & Rescue, and Greyhound Rescue, will be at the event. Activities will include Bark Busters Agility Course, Dane Haven Great Dane Kissing Both, small dog races, longest tail and ear competition and more. Demonstration will be presented by Phoenix Disc Dogs, Buckeye K-9 Unit and Rugged Cross Kennel and Dog Training.

All About Animals Rescue is excited to announce their 6th Annual Puppy Love event will be at OHSO Scottsdale on March 3rd from 6pm to 9pm. Tickets are $25 Some of the unique and super fun Silent Auction packages will include Tuft & Needle, Disneyland, local resort stay and plays, tattoos, travels through AZ and more.

March 9 — Dog Daze– Mesa6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
2nd Friday Night Out has gone to the dogs for the March 9 event.
From 6 to 10 p.m. there will be dog merchandise, dog rescue groups, a dog splash pool, dog treats, and dog contests at 8 p.m. on the patio of the OneOhOne Gallery, 101 W. Main St, for “Dog Daze.” Prizes for biggest, smallest, cutest, best trick, best dressed, and dog who looks most like its owner will be awarded.
This free event on Main Street in historic downtown Mesa, between Center and Robson, will feature over 50 artists showcasing original artwork, food trucks, entertainment, live bands, and more. Shops and restaurants will be open late.

March 24 — Dog Days of Glendale9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Calling all dogs and the people they love! Dog Days of Glendale – Woof Fest 2018 transforms historic downtown Glendale’s Murphy Park into a giant playground for dogs and their people. Midwestern University is this year’s “Top Dog” sponsor and will have their Ambulatory Unit on site along with information about their Companion Animal Clinic Services.
Dog Days of Glendale will also feature over 40 pet related vendors, animal rescue groups, a photo booth, canine demonstrations, pet food sampling and much more. Save the date and join us for a “Pawsome” event.
Event is free to attend. Free parking available in garage adjacent to park and on street.

Join us at O.H.S.O Arcadia for Beers + Barks, a giveback event benefiting Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA on Wednesday, March 28th from 2pm-6pm! Camp Bow Wow Phoenix, a doggy day care and boarding facility opening soon, will be hosting and handing out giveaways and FREE days of day care!

Residents from all over the Valley will be able to bring their dogs from 9am to Noon, to get scrubbed and toweled off for a great cause.
ReThinc Advertising hosts a safe environment for dogs, provides clean water, organic shampoo, treats and more for any dog family that stops by.
There will also be a silent auction for your chance at great items including Golf at WeKoPa Golf Club, tickets to Celtic Women, gift certificates to OHSO Brewery and Four Peaks and much more!
All washes are by donation only, and a minimum $20 donation will get you a great gift! 100% of the proceeds will go to Lost Our Home, helping the organization to continue saving animals in need.
